Adam’s Boy
Raisin, are you a snake? You are snaking around me; I can sense the grip of your scales around me; I can feel the weight, slimy and cold around me. Tell me, if this is the Eden we were granted, why must you be the ugly whisper in my ear? You, you, you, you tell me you think you’ve cracked the code but the apple is a big bite to swallow whole and we’re in the kitchen testing to see which one is the bigger corrupting force, although, I’m still clinging to the rest of me, limbs and all, while you’re searching for a rib to steal.
